Tamron-Link TL-01

Q: Which devices are compatible with the Tamron Link TL-01?

The TL-01 works with compatible Tamron lenses and the Tamron Lens Utility Mobile app on iOS and Android devices. It does not guarantee operation with all Bluetooth-enabled devices. Performance may vary depending on the surrounding environment and connected hardware.

Q: Do I need to update my lens firmware before using the TL-01?

Yes. Compatible lenses must be updated to the latest firmware version before using the Tamron Link and Tamron Lens Utility. Firmware updates must be performed using the PC version of Tamron Lens Utility, as the mobile version does not support them.

Q: Will Bluetooth affect battery life?

Yes. Battery consumption on both the camera and the connected mobile device may increase during Bluetooth use. It is worth keeping an eye on power levels during longer sessions.
