Tamron 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 DI III VXD G2 Lens for Sony FE

Q: Is the Tamron 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 DI III VXD G2 compatible with APS-C format?

As standard for full-frame Sony E-mount lenses, the 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 G2 can also be used on APS-C bodies. When paired with a smaller sensor, a 1.5x crop factor applies, giving an effective field of view of approximately 37.5–300mm while retaining autofocus and electronic communication.

Q: Can I use filters with the Tamron 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 DI III VXD G2?

Yes. The lens uses a 67mm filter thread, consistent with other Tamron Di III models. This allows direct attachment of screw-in filters such as polarisers, NDs, and protective glass without additional adapters.
