When switching to moving images, users can access 4K 60P recording with full pixel readout, 4K 30P 6.2K oversampling in super 35 format, 10-bit colour depth, 4:2:2 colour sampling, and support for XAVC S-I/XAVC HS formats. Sony also helps streamline post-production with various creative looks, S-cinteone picture profiles, and Log recording with LUT support. Following the popularity of touch controls introduced with the ZV-E1, the Alpha 7C R benefits from the same intuitive interface that mimics the simplicity of smartphone navigation. In addition to the touch shutter, focus, and tracking, you can also operate the menu using touch. A simple swipe will give you access to all the controls, allowing you to set parameters before swiping the menu away to get back to shooting. Sony also includes a vari-angle screen, upgraded XGA OLED EVF, and an additional front dial to reinforce this seamless user experience. Wired terminals include a USB-C port, a micro HDMI port, a 3.5mm minijack, and a multi-interface shoe for seamless cable-free pairing with all kinds of accessories.
