Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Fujifilm X

Q: What is different about the Contemporary Lenses?

Sigma has 3 lines of lenses dedicated to Art, Contemporary Photography and Sport. The Contemporary lenses are designed for high optical performance in a compact and lightweight build and are ideal for travel photography and casual snapshots. They were introduced as more portable rivals to the line of Art Lenses for users wanting similar creative expression whilst out on the road.

Q: What does DC stand for?

DC is what Sigma use to signify lenses that are designed for APS-C sensor cameras. These lenses are generally smaller, lighter and therefore offer flexibility and increased manoeuvrability.

Q: What does DN stand for?

DN refers to Sigma’s impeccable lens design that ensures exceptional performance on mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras with a short flange back distance.

Q: Does this lens feature image stabilisation?

Unfortunately, this Sigma Lens does not feature image stabilisation.
