Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1-Channel Set

Q: What is the maximum transmission range of the Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1-Channel Set?

In optimal line-of-sight conditions, the system transmits up to 245 m. In typical use cases where the body or obstacles may block the signal, the range reduces to around 150 m. This feature makes it suitable for most indoor and outdoor filming scenarios where mobility is essential.

Q: How long does the internal battery last, and how is it charged?

The transmitter and receiver each offer up to 7 hours of runtime when transmitting and recording. The transmitter alone can record internally for up to 14 hours without transmitting. Charging is achieved via USB-C, and both units fully charge in under 2 hours, making it easy to top up power between shoots.

Q: Can I use the system in different temperature and humidity conditions?

Yes, the system is designed to operate between -10 °C and +45 °C and within a humidity range of 25–95% (non-condensing). Charging should take place between 0 °C and +45 °C. This makes it robust enough for use in a wide range of environmental conditions.

Q: Does the system require an app or manual pairing to set up?

No app is required to operate the Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1-Channel Set. The included transmitter and receiver come pre-paired and automatically connect once powered on. This allows for immediate use straight out of the box, with no configuration needed.

Q: What type of audio monitoring is available on the receiver?

The receiver includes a dedicated headphone output with 25 mW output power and supports headphones with a minimum 32 Ω impedance. This allows for direct audio monitoring during recording or while setting up levels. Real-time monitoring is useful for ensuring signal clarity and avoiding clipping issues.
