Polaroid B+W Film for I-Type

Q: How should this film be stored?

It is recommended to store the unexposed film at low temperatures of around 4-degree Celsius to 18-degree Celsius in a fridge. Store the film in its original packaging and do not freeze the film. When the film is to be used, allow it to come to room temperature before using it for best results.

Q: What is an instant film?

An instant film is a regular camera film but it can develop instantly after the shutter clicks. A black and white instant film usually takes 5-10 minutes to develop, and a colour film takes about 10-15 minutes. The instant film already has the required chemicals that react with the already present colour sensitive layers to develop an instant image. These are required to develop in the shade, as strong light can disrupt the image quality.

Q: What does the ISO speed mean?

An ISO number is indicative of a film’s sensitivity to light and is also known as a film speed. The higher the ISO number is, the higher the light sensitivity of that film is. ISO 640 of this monochrome film is a high-speed that is ideal for shooting in low-light conditions and delivers a fine grain structure. It produces a broad tonal scale and deep black and white tones.

Q: Which cameras are compatible with the film?

This Polaroid black and white instant film is compatible with most of the modern instant cameras. This film is specifically made for use with the Polaroid i-Type cameras such as the Polaroid Now, OneStep+, OneStep 2, and the Polaroid Lab.

Q: How can the polaroid photos be scanned?

The Polaroid pictures are easy to scan with either of these methods: app-based smartphone scanning, flatbed scanning, sheetfed scanning, and digital camera scanning, with the first one being the easiest.
