Manfrotto ONE Carbon Fibre Hybrid Tripod with 500X Fluid Head

Q: What kind of gear can the Manfrotto ONE Carbon Fibre Tripod and 500X head support?

The tripod supports up to 15kg, making it suitable for large rigs. The head supports 5 kg and is designed for camera setups that benefit from smooth tilt and pan operation, especially around the 2.4 kg counterbalance point.

Q: Does the 500X Fluid Head allow for vertical shooting?

The sliding plate tilts for portrait orientation, and the head allows precise control from 0° to 90°. This is useful for vertical video or portrait photography.

Q: Is the Manfrotto ONE Carbon Fibre Tripod system portable for travel and location work?

The full system and head weighs 4.22kg and folds down to 81 cm. It comes with a carry bag and includes an ergonomic handle for easier repositioning or transport between sets.

Q: Can I switch the 500X Head out for another model later on?

Yes, the system is Xchange-compatible, so the head can be swapped in seconds without tools. You can change to a slider, ball head, or other accessory using the same base.

Q: Is the tripod suitable for use on outdoor terrain?

The tripod includes removable rubber feet that reveal spiked metal feet for added grip on natural or uneven surfaces. The non-round leg tubes also provide greater torsional rigidity, helping to maintain stability during outdoor video pans.
