Manfrotto ONE Aluminium Photography Tripod with XPRO 3 Way head

Q: What is the reach of the Manfrotto ONE Aluminium Photography Tripod with XPRO 3 Way head?

The tripod reaches a maximum height of 177cm with the centre column raised. With the column down, it reaches 147cm, and at its lowest position, it can sit just 10cm above the ground. This wide range allows comfortable working heights alongside low-angle compositions.

Q: How much weight can the tripod and head support?

The tripod itself has a safety payload rating of 12kg, providing stable support for professional camera systems and lenses. The XPRO 3-Way head supports up to 4kg. This combination works well for many mirrorless and DSLR setups used in studio and controlled environments.

Q: What does the XTEND mechanism do?

The XTEND mechanism allows all leg sections to extend simultaneously in one movement. Instead of adjusting each section separately, photographers can quickly deploy the tripod and adjust the height more fluidly, speeding up setup when working on location or moving between compositions.

Q: Can the tripod be used for overhead or flat-lay photography?

Yes. The integrated Q90 mechanism allows the centre column to rotate from a vertical to a horizontal position. The flexibility of the centre column lets you position the camera directly above a subject, which is useful for product photography, macro work, tabletop setups, or tutorials that require precise overhead framing.

Q: How can accessories be mounted directly onto the tripod?

The tripod includes Manfrotto’s Easy Link connector, allowing accessories such as LED lights, small reflectors, or other equipment to attach directly to the tripod. This easy-to-use attachment system simplifies compact studio setups and reduces the need for additional stands.
