Kodak H35N Half Frame Film Camera - Glazed Blue

Q: What is the built-in star filter?

The built-in star filter on the Kodak Ektar H35N creates a unique visual effect by adding a four-beam flare to images when photographing illuminated objects, such as streetlights or festive lights. This feature is particularly beneficial for creative photographers looking to add a dreamy, artistic touch to their photos. The star filter can transform ordinary light sources into spectacular focal points, enhancing the overall aesthetic of your images and making them stand out with a distinctive flair.

Q: How does the bulb function work?

The bulb function on the Kodak Ektar H35N allows the camera's shutter to remain open for as long as the user has the shutter button pressed, enabling long exposure photography. This feature is ideal for capturing motion, such as light trails from moving vehicles or creating silky smooth effects in flowing water. When used with the built-in tripod hole to stabilise the camera, the bulb function allows photographers to experiment with various long exposure techniques, adding depth and dynamism to their photography.

Q: What improvements does the upgraded lens offer?

The Kodak Ektar H35N's upgraded and coated lens significantly enhances image quality by delivering sharper photos with greater detail. The coating on the lens reduces reflections and glare, which can otherwise detract from image clarity. This feature produces cleaner, crisper photos with more accurate colour representation and contrast.

Q: Is this camera available in other colours?

Yes, the Kodak Ektar H35N Half Frame Film Camera is available in Striped Black, Striped Silver, Striped Green, Glazed Blue, Glazed Orange and Glazed Pink. You can choose from two designs featuring a stylish stripe pattern or a shiny metallic surface, making it easy to find a version that matches your aesthetic.
