Hoya 77mm Fusion One Next Circular Polariser Filter

Q: Does this filter minimise flare when working in bright lighting conditions?

This filter is designed to minimise flare in bright lighting conditions, thanks to its multi-coated glass element. It also reduces haze during landscape photography and videography.

Q: Does the filter have any magnification? Can you adjust the polarisation?

This filter does not magnify the image quality. It is created for optical clarity and high colour fidelity. There is a rotating frame, which allows you to adjust the polarisation effect as per the requirement.

Q: Is this filter water-resistant?

This polarising filter features a water-repellent coating that protects it against splash and water, allowing you to use this filter in light rain and moisture-filled environments. The filter also features dust- and scratch-resistant coatings to keep it clean and tidy.

Q: What is the filter factor of this filter? Does it come with a storage case?

This rotating filter has a 1.7x filter factor with a 0.8 stop. The Hoya filter is supplied with a plastic storage case for storage and portability when not in use.

Q: How does this filter reduce ghosting?

The light from the sun becomes partially polarised as the light scatters and appears in the form of haze in the lens. The multiple layers on this filter absorb as much light as possible, resulting in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from finished surfaces. It further increases the saturation of skies and foliage.
