Question 1

How much weight can the GoPro Fluid Pro AI support?

Accepted Answer

The gimbal supports camera setups up to 400g, making it suitable for smartphones, GoPro cameras, and compact point-and-shoot models. This load capacity also allows for lightweight lenses, filters, and small accessories without affecting stability. The robust motor system ensures smooth movement, even when operating near maximum load.

Question 2

How does the AI subject tracking work on the GoPro Fluid Pro AI?

Accepted Answer

The included AI tracker module can be positioned forward or backwards to recognise and follow a subject’s face or body with precision. Once engaged, the system keeps your subject centred in the frame as you move, reducing the need for manual adjustments. A built-in fill light enhances the tracking module, helping balance exposure in less-than-ideal lighting conditions for more professional results.

Question 3

What are the GoPro Fluid Pro AI gimbal’s dimensions and weight?

Accepted Answer

The GoPro Fluid Pro AI measures 36 x 20 x 8cm and weighs 551g, striking a balance between portability and stability. Its size makes it large enough to deliver professional stabilisation yet compact enough to travel with in most camera bags. This balance ensures creators can carry it easily while still benefiting from the strength and rigidity needed for demanding shoots.

Question 4

What kind of power system does the GoPro Fluid Pro AI use?

Accepted Answer

The gimbal utilises an internal 7.4V lithium battery that recharges via a 5V/2A USB input, providing flexible charging options. In addition to powering itself, the Fluid Pro AI also features a USB-C output, enabling it to function as a power bank during use. This feature allows you to charge your smartphone or GoPro directly from the gimbal, extending your shooting sessions without needing to carry extra power sources.

Question 5

Does the GoPro Fluid Pro AI gimbal have a built-in display?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it features a 0.91” OLED display with a resolution of 128×32 pixels, designed for clear status updates while shooting. The screen provides real-time feedback on gimbal modes, battery level, and tracking functions, enabling users to make quick adjustments. Having this information directly on the handle reduces the need to check connected devices, making the shooting experience faster and more streamlined.

Question 6

Does the GoPro Fluid Pro AI feature gesture control?

Accepted Answer

The gimbal supports intuitive hand gesture operation for key functions, letting you start or stop tracking, or adjust framing, without needing physical controls. Paired with the GoPro Fluid app, this makes remote and solo operation reliable and straightforward.
