GoPro Dual Battery Charger + Enduro 2 Battery

Q: Can the charger charge two batteries simultaneously at full speed?

Yes, but it requires a high-quality USB-C power adapter rated at 27W or higher. With lower-powered adapters, the charger cannot maintain fast charging in both slots simultaneously. This matters when preparing several batteries before a long shoot, as the higher input voltage keeps charging times consistent rather than slowing once the second battery is inserted.

Q: Does the charger only work with Enduro 2 batteries?

The charger is built for Enduro 2 batteries used in the GoPro MISSION 1 series, but it also accepts HERO13 Black Enduro batteries. Charging speeds do not increase for HERO13 Black batteries inside this charger, though the dual-slot design still makes it easier to rotate multiple batteries during longer recording days.

Q: What makes the Enduro 2 battery different from a standard GoPro battery?

The Enduro 2 battery uses a 2150mAh lithium-ion design that stores more energy than standard GoPro batteries. That extra capacity physically gives the camera more runtime before the voltage drops low enough to shut down, which is especially useful during high-resolution recording or extended continuous takes.

Q: Can I leave the batteries inside the charger while travelling?

Yes. The charger uses taller battery slots that grip the batteries more securely than shallow open trays. When the charger is packed into a backpack or hard case, the batteries stay seated instead of shifting loose against the charging contacts during transport.
