Fujifilm Instax Mini 13 Instant Film Camera - Dreamy Purple

Q: What film does the Instax Mini 13 use?

The Instax Mini 13 uses Fujifilm Instax Mini instant film, which is sold separately. The film produces credit-card-sized prints with an image area measuring 62mm × 46mm. A range of film designs and frame styles are available, including themed and decorative border options, allowing you to personalise your instant prints.

Q: How is the Instax Mini 13 powered?

The Instax Mini 13 is powered by two AA batteries, which are included in the box. A fresh set of batteries can power approximately 10 packs of Instax Mini film, depending on how the camera is used. The camera also switches itself off automatically after five minutes to help preserve battery life.

Q: How compact is the Instax Mini 13?

The Instax Mini 13 measures 105.5 × 124.7 × 67.6mm (W × H × D) and weighs 327g without batteries, film or the wrist strap attached. Its compact size makes it easy to carry in a bag or backpack, ready for days out, holidays and everyday occasions.

Q: How long does the film take to develop?

Instax Mini film develops automatically after the photo is ejected from the camera. Development takes approximately 90 seconds, though this can vary with ambient temperature. During this time, the image gradually appears on the film without requiring any additional processing.

Q: What do the LED lights on the Instax Mini 13 mean?

The Instax Mini 13 uses two indicator lights to show the camera's status. The flash charging lamp, located above the lens ring, lets you know when the flash is ready to use. If the lamp is flashing slowly, it's charging, and you'll need to wait before taking a photo. The self-timer lamp is built into the self-timer lever. When using the 10-second timer, the lamp flashes slowly before speeding up during the final few seconds of the countdown. With the 2-second timer, the lamp flashes quickly to indicate that the shutter is about to be released.
