Enlaps Tikee mini S (with soft case)

Q: What happens if the MicroSD card becomes full or develops a fault?

The Tikee mini S includes a Never Ending mode, which lets you keep shooting even if the SD card is full or faulty. This mode is relevant for situations where the camera may remain unattended for extended periods.

Q: Does the Tikee mini S have built-in GPS?

Yes. The camera has built-in GPS using A-GPS technology. This provides the precise location of the installed Tikee mini S. Combined with its remote supervision functions, the camera's location can be identified without relying solely on records of where each unit was installed. This is particularly relevant when managing cameras across multiple sites.

Q: How close can the Tikee mini S focus?

The minimum focusing distance is 1m. According to the supplied specifications, the camera provides a clear image from 1m through to infinity. The installation therefore requires at least one metre between the camera and the nearest subject that needs to remain clearly rendered. You can then use live preview to confirm the framing from the installed position before you start capturing.

Q: Can I control the Tikee mini S from a smartphone?

Yes. The Tikee Remote mobile app lets you control the camera directly from a smartphone. You can also control the camera remotely through the myTikee cloud platform. This lets you operate the camera without physically changing settings at the installed unit. The supplied information does not specify which individual settings are available through each interface.
