DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5

Q: Which gimbals support the DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5?

The DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5 works with the DJI Osmo Mobile 8P, Osmo Mobile 8, Osmo Mobile 7P and Osmo Mobile 7. It attaches magnetically to the gimbal head, so the clamped phone can be mounted and removed quickly.

Q: Which phones fit the DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5?

The clamp fits phones which are 67-84mm wide, 6.9-11mm thick, and weigh 170-300g. The thickness figure includes the phone case, so a slim case can stay fitted if the combined size remains within range.

Q: Will the clamp cover my phone screen?

The DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 5 uses smaller rubber contact pads than the previous clamp design, so it covers less of the phone screen. This matters when you are tapping camera controls or checking the edges of your frame while the phone is mounted.

Q: Will the magnet affect my phone or other items?

The clamp uses a magnetic attachment system for mounting the phone to the gimbal. Keep it away from magnet-sensitive items such as bank cards, pacemakers, RAM chips and hard drives. Some phones may prompt you to calibrate the compass after mounting; follow the phone’s on-screen instructions.
