DJI Mic Mini 2S Multi-Colour Magnetic Front Cover Set

Q: What is the DJI Multi-Colour Magnetic Front Cover Set used for?

This cover set changes the visible finish of a DJI Mic Mini 2S Transmitter without changing how the microphone is mounted or used. Eight coloured covers provide more choice when matching the transmitter with different clothing or deciding how noticeable it should appear on camera. Each cover replaces the existing magnetic front cover directly. The microphone’s recording functions remain unchanged.

Q: How do I change the front cover?

The Mic Mini 2S Transmitter uses a removable magnetic front cover. The fitted cover can be lifted from the groove at the bottom of the transmitter and replaced with another colour from the set. Because the cover is separate from the transmitter’s clip or magnet, changing it does not require removing or repositioning the microphone. This makes it straightforward to change the finish between recordings.

Q: Does a cover add much weight to the transmitter?

Each magnetic front cover weighs 0.9g. The low weight means changing the front cover adds very little to the transmitter’s overall load when it is attached to clothing. The mounting method remains unchanged regardless of which colour is fitted. This helps retain the compact feel of the Mic Mini 2S Transmitter.

Q: Which microphones are compatible with the set?

The DJI Mic Mini 2S Multi-Colour Magnetic Front Cover Set is compatible only with the DJI Mic Mini 2S Transmitter. It is not specified for other DJI Mic transmitters. The covers attach using the Mic Mini 2S's interchangeable magnetic front-cover design. The transmitter itself is not included with the set.
