Question 1

What items fit inside the DJI Mic Mini 2S Charging Case?

Accepted Answer

The case is designed to hold two Mic Mini 2S transmitters, one Mic Mini 2S Receiver, and one DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver. It also provides space for two magnetic clips, two magnets, two windscreens, two magnetic front covers, the Camera Audio Cable, and the Mic Mini Mobile Phone Adapter. This keeps the main recording, mounting and connection accessories stored together. The Mic Series Mobile Receiver can also be stored inside but is not included with the Charging Case itself.

Question 2

How does the DJI Mic Mini 2S Charging Case handle charging?

Accepted Answer

A fully charged case can fully recharge two Mic Mini 2S transmitters and one Mic Mini 2S Receiver around 3.2 times. This extends total operating time to up to 40 hours. The case charges the components together, so they do not need to be connected to power separately. The case itself takes around two hours to recharge.

Question 3

What happens when I place the transmitter and receiver in the case?

Accepted Answer

Compatible Mic Mini 2S transmitters and the Mic Mini 2S Receiver can pair automatically when placed inside the case. Opening the case powers the stored components on, reducing setup before recording. Closing the case starts charging after use. Once charging is complete, the stored devices power down.

Question 4

How can I transfer recordings from the transmitters?

Accepted Answer

With Mic Mini 2S transmitters stored inside, the case can connect to a compatible computer or smartphone for file transfer. This allows internal recordings to be copied without removing and connecting each transmitter individually. Transfer speeds reach up to 34MB/s. A 30-minute 24-bit recording can transfer in around eight seconds.

Question 5

How long does the charging case take to recharge?

Accepted Answer

The charging case takes around two hours to recharge and accepts up to 5V, 3A input. Its 1950mAh lithium-ion battery then provides repeated charging for the stored transmitter and receiver components. Charging is supported from 5°C to 40°C, while operating temperature extends from -10°C to 45°C.
