DJI Mic Mini 2 (2TX+1RX+Charging Case)

Q: Can the DJI Mic Mini 2 record two people simultaneously?

Yes, this kit includes two transmitters and one receiver, allowing two subjects to be recorded simultaneously. Each transmitter records to a separate channel, giving more control during editing. This configuration suits interviews, presentations, and dialogue-based work.

Q: Can I adjust audio levels directly on the unit?

Yes, the receiver includes a physical dial with five gain levels, enabling quick adjustment without accessing menus or an app. It is useful when you need to respond quickly to changing recording conditions.

Q: Is it possible to use the system without the receiver?

Yes, compatible DJI devices can connect directly to the transmitters via OsmoAudio. This feature removes the need for the receiver and simplifies the setup, particularly in compact or handheld configurations.

Q: Does the microphone pick up sound from all directions?

Yes, the transmitters use an omnidirectional pickup pattern. This pattern captures sound evenly around the microphone, which helps maintain consistent audio even if the subject turns their head slightly. It is particularly useful for unscripted or conversational recording.

Q: How is battery life managed across the system?

The transmitters and receiver are charged within the included case, which keeps everything organised. The case can charge the transmitter and receiver up to 3.6 times, extending the total runtime to 48 hours. Fast charging also allows the system to be ready again after a short charging period.

Q: What is the purpose of the magnetic front covers?

The transmitters feature replaceable magnetic front covers, available in multiple colours, including standard black and white as well as optional brighter options. These covers can be swapped quickly, which is useful for keeping the microphone discreet against clothing or making it more visible when needed.
