Canon Tripod Grip HG-200TBR

Q: Can the Canon HG-200TBR shoot vertically for social media?

Yes. The adjustable head rotates and locks into vertical positions, making it easier to record TikTok, Reels, and other portrait-format content without needing a separate bracket. The grip can also tilt for overhead or low-angle framing, which helps when filming handheld pieces to camera or product shots.

Q: What can the BR-E2 wireless remote control do?

The detachable BR-E2 remote can trigger still photos, start video recording, activate autofocus, and control zoom functions on compatible cameras. Certain compatible models also support exposure compensation and customisable remote buttons. Functions vary depending on the camera and firmware version installed.

Q: Can I attach a microphone to the HG-200TBR?

Yes. The grip includes an accessory shoe that supports external microphones and other small accessories. Mounting a microphone directly above the camera keeps the setup compact and reduces the need for additional cages or brackets when filming lightweight content setups.

Q: How many cameras can the remote pair with?

The BR-E2 remote can pair with up to five compatible Canon cameras. Once paired, users can switch between connected bodies without repeating the pairing process each time, although the remote only controls one camera at a time during shooting.

Q: Is the Canon HG-200TBR comfortable for longer handheld recording?

Yes. The grip uses a lightweight, ergonomic design that stays comfortable during extended handheld shooting. This makes it easier to hold the camera steady for longer clips, vlogging segments, or repeated takes without the setup becoming tiring to manage.
