Q: Is a lens port included with the AQUATECH EDGE Housing?

No, a lens port is not included with the housing. It is sold separately and is required for the operation of the housing. The housing is compatible with AquaTech's P-Series lens ports, offering versatility in lens selection for underwater photography.

Q: What is the depth rating of the AQUATECH EDGE Housing?

The housing has a depth rating of 10 metres (33 feet), allowing photographers to explore a variety of underwater environments while protecting their Sony A9 III camera.

Q: Can I use third-party lens ports with the AQUATECH EDGE Sports Housing?

The housing is specifically designed for use with AquaTech's P-Series lens ports, and compatibility with third-party lens ports is not guaranteed.

Q: What is the difference between EDGE, EDGE BASE, and EDGE MAX?

The difference between the AQUATECH EDGE BASE, AQUATECH EDGE and AQUATECH EDGE MAX ranges lies primarily in their features and capabilities. The EDGE MAX is the top-tier model, providing a camera plate, Backplate Foam Eyepiece, X-handle, and X-grip for improved handling and compatibility with a broader range of accessories. The AQUATECH EDGE range offers the same number of intuitive controls on the backplate for complete access to camera controls underwater. It also comes with a convenient ‘palm-stopper’ handle. The AQUATECH EDGE BASE range is the most basic line. It does not feature any controls on the backplate but is equipped with a camera plate for easy mounting.
